A new blog, a new show in the works
Hey there a sports fans, al here with the latest;
So you may have noticed that there’s been a change of pace as far as frequency of blogs where is directly proportional to me doing artwork and the new Parody project a cake a have no line project.
These new projects consist of about six different new pieces of artwork 18“ x 24“ for original scratchboard pieces but the biggest difference is the subject matter and that’s it compared to what I’ve done before.
The six pieces consist of:
Piece one "Boiler Plate hitting the thermal limits of a positronic overload of data due to visual input" colloquial title“Dual Singularity” or the "with the individual characters of Heavy-Metal and Sadie Starkiss on the unveiling of AI's emotions and equating it to a black hole.
The second piece is “The Dawn of Man OR Target Earth!” with a McMinnville UFO beaming down a monolith into the surprised Protoman's ass. McMinnville is in my backyard locally speaking and I love 2001: A Space Oddessy by Kubrik. So a mix of this with the "old alien and their probes in human bodies" had to happen.
The third piece is entitled “Juice Box” this is what the lounging revved up Juicebox. But this discovery is what this kid wanted when confronted with his juice box. "Mom this ain’t what I ordered."
Number four "Storm the Complex!" This is a take on The Naruto Run of 2019. A bunch of streaking people across the desert to go up against the fence of Area 51. There are three aliens pictured above of what the group dream of aliens which here is depicted usually as a green girl possibly pointed ears, then probably be there which is the typical gray, and finally a Xenomorph, the kind of alien you don’t want as a pet.
Number 5 “Mystery Box’d” the image of a futuristic Ahab (possibly steampunk in nature) tracking down the Bad Robot through all the unfinished productions left in their wake!
Number 6 “The Savage Poodle Moth Man” greatest 50’s never made. Giant Bug movies mixed with Science gone wrong. What could be greater than a movie with faux Richard Carlson?
And finally Number 7 "The Apocalyse we were expecting". This at the height of the pandemic and BLM and wildfires (if you lived in the Northwest.) The greatest enemy that we have faced is an invisible one to the naked eye. And spurred on by an emotion that we can't seem to control- fear. The end is nigh.
So there you go with the show. Seem like only two weeks since the last time I posted but it seems it the only amount of time I can do a blog currently.
Till next time.
