Hey there sports fans, Al here with the latest:
Perseverance. That was a question I asked myself when my eyes began to open this morning.
Perseverance. So is it a physical thing?
No, that is like saying that breathing is a choice to keep your body living. Is perseverance just a fancy name we give for a simple action within simple existence? Or does perseverance give meaning to existence?
I think in a lot of ways that is more of what I’m looking at it. Sometimes I have used the word "perseverance" for loyalty to something or someone blindly. In some cases that was actually true, I did follow very loyalty at certain workplaces without a lot of regard to my own personal well-being and health and I paid the price for some of that it’s also true of people that I have known in the past.
But when you are working on long-term projects such as Richard Parker that have gone on for five going on six years now you begin to wonder about yourself am I simply just doing this just to keep busy and that’s the reason why I ask a question about perseverance.
With all the work that I have done on The Watery Adventure of Richard Parker, I begin to wonder whether or not I am doing this for pleasure? No not really. Honing one’s skill is something that is very admirable and is something to be looked upon with reverence and I think in a lot of ways with all the work that I have done on Richard Parker for the last six years or so makes me think, yeah, Richard Parker is been growing both in story city and in the scope of the artwork.
This isn't a long blog this time around was just something that was on my mind when I woke up this morning but Richard Parker continues and I am really pleased with this one two page spread that I’m working on currently that you can see in the thumbnail other than that take this kid is out of here got work to do.
