Does a finished piece of art mean a finished piece of work?

Hey there sports fans, Al here with the latest;

Does a finished piece of art mean a finished piece of work?

That's an excellent question. For many people, a finished piece of artwork means the project is actually completed. It's done when you have a bunch of completed artwork for a particular series. But unless it's framed and matted, it's still just a bunch of pieces of artwork waiting to be finished.

That's it, no more, no less.

So as an artist, you have to be very aware, "Hey, am I actually doing the right thing by telling people the artwork is done?"

I can't answer that question, at least not right now anyway. What I can say is that the physical artwork is pretty much done. There might be a few more modifications like some lettering or the numbers for the book, but that's it done. But I got to get the book formatted. When this part of the process is done, this will tell me where I need there certain places I need to focus on. Like I said, the book's title and the page numbers that's it.

With a Richard Parker story being completed and formated into something that can be presented as a PDF file to print his commissions. One of the most recent commissions was actually for a coworker who wanted a picture of Pinhead, specifically something to deal with Hellraiser, the movie franchise. Now years ago, I tried to present doing Pinhead for the crypto con comic show up near Seattle up along Federal Way, and that small 5 x 7 piece was OK but not well rendered. I took a lot more time researching the movies by watching them and understanding the lore and what was needed to be connected to this series of films. When I completed the actual work, I meant to say that I had to varnish the piece. Because he wasn't asking for a frame to piece of artwork, I varnished the work and held onto it for at least a couple of months where it was dry enough to touch and hold and then do a transport 2 Said Pl to do the hand off. The (TikTok) video will show exactly

if you look at the video below

shows what transpired when I did the handoff to the CONTRACTed in person. It shows his reaction for the first time he hadn't seen anything on it, so I think it was this was an excellent piece does handoff, and it shows the capability what does when I take the time to work on something.

Now it's like so many other projects that I have at work. The physical artwork is actually done, but I keep myself motivated to keep working on pieces of artwork formatting takes a lot more computer time than I have allowed myself to have during the day, so hopefully, during a vacation.

 They're all Hi-Rez. I'll be able to actually format the book into something into a template that pictures can be dropped in and go from there. I may have to make one or two more images possible, but we'll see where the formatting comes into play, and then I will have to shop around. That's my goal for this next week anyway.

It's taking me time to get back into my blogging situation because I'm so focused on doing artwork, but now I got to get ready for other things.
